The upgrade of Rachael’s machine is not going well.
First I bought 2gb of DDR2, only to then find out that the board CAN take 4gb of DDR2, but only as a maximum of 1gb sticks (anyone want to buy 2gb DDR2 PC6400/swap for 2 x 1gb DIMMs?).
Then we ordered a new HDD. A new 500gb HDD, a new mouse, and I picked up 100 blank CDs, as is customary when ordering from ebuyer. All well and good, except this time, CityLink have really fucking excelled themselves.
Not only have they not delivered the package when it was supposed to arrive (it is actually 3 days early, though that’s probably down to ebuyer)… they have delivered it to completely the wrong fucking address.
How difficult is it to deliver a package to a house that is on a main road, with the number clearly visible next to the front door? How difficult is that, when your job description is ‘put things in van, drive van, deliver things to right place’. They even have sat nav… all the driver had to do was pick from a group of 4 houses.
Jesus fucking christ. No wonder you’re driving a van around for a living, you dosile twats.

I ordered a laptop for a guy at work at 5pm on a Thursday last week and it got delivered on Friday at 8:10am. Just a shame that no matter what your order from ebuyer citylink seem to fuck you about.
